Welcome to my blog, so glad you stopped by! I am very passionate about photography and being able to capture that special moment and make it an everlasting memory. I even love designing art with the photos I take. Just a little about me...First of all, I am very Blessed with a wonderful family, career, and just having a wonderful life. I am a mother to a beautiful daughter, a wife to a loving and supportive husband, and a dedicated soldier for this great Nation of ours. In my spare time, other than spending it with my family, I am always doing something with photography. I am located in Oklahoma City, OK, and service all of central Oklahoma; but also willing to travel outside the area. I will be using this blog to show sneak peeks from my sessions and also giving updates. Thank you so much for stopping by! - Nani

My First Wedding

I did my first wedding yesterday.  I usually don't do weddings and hadn't planned on it for awhile. This opportunity came up and I couldn't pass it up.  This couple didn't have too big of expectations and it was an outdoor wedding so what better opportunity to do my first wedding. My daughter was my secondary photographer and she did great!

Congratulations Ashley and Adam! You guys make a beautiful couple!! Thank you for letting me shoot your wedding.
I'm posting this picture in color and in black and white...I love the way it looks in both.

I just love the boots with the dress!  That was awesome!!

The first dance....

This one made me tear up...Father and Daughter dance...

Busy! Busy! Busy!...Its the Holidays!

Wow, This is my first year to do serious photography during the holidays and BOY has it kept me busy.  I'm not complaining cuz I'm definitely getting in my practice time but I can't even imagine what it will be like next year as I get better and pick up more clients.  It's exciting but I may have to get an assistant...Better put that daughter of mine to work. lol!

I love working with children because they are so cute and fun..and they end up with some really adorable pictures; however they can be a challenge sometimes.  You give them an open field and they don't even think about pictures...they just wanna GO!  Garrett was really good for the photos, Logan was just chillin' :)  and Conner...well Conner was not in the mood to take pictures but I think we got some cute ones of him by himself...and we finally got all three boys together at the end. Thanks Kari for the opportunity to take pictures of your boys.  And we can definitely do this again in Spring! I look forward to it!

I thought this photo was kinda funny...Heres grandma on the side trying to bribe conner to come take pictures...as you can see, he just wasn't having it.

We finally got all three boys together...and well worth the wait. Look at those smiles.

Jessica, It was so fun to take your family's pictures! You guys take great photos! And it was nice seeing your mom and sister again, as well as meet your dad!  Your family is so sweet! Hey, didn't Melanie do good as my assistant?  I may have to hire her on the side. :)

Making Comments on my Blog

Sorry Guys, I'm still learning how this blogging thing works.  I guess I had my comments set up to where only people that had an ID can comment.  I believe I have fixed that problem.  If you want to make a comment just click on the comment link and under "Choose an Identity" click on the Name/URL button (if you don't have an ID for one of the others).  The URL is optional.  So its now open for commenting.  :)

Just wanted to take a moment to thank all my fellow soldiers, marines, airmen, and seamen that make sacrifices for our great Nation, as well as all our Veterans that has already served! And thank you to all that support us!!
Here is a picture I took when I visited New York.  Happy Veterans Day!!

Teagan

I shot this family about a couple of weeks ago. It was mainly a shoot for the little girl, but we took some of the family to include grandpa and uncle. This little girl didn't make me work as hard as most toddlers...but I think she just woke up too. She still took some good pictures though. I loved the way the fall colors look in the background.
